I started out a strong contender. I had my commander Saskia the Unyielding out on curve and targeted Steve (chosen randomly), hurt him pretty bad too, Steve was down to 20 health pretty quick while I was riding high at 50.
Didn’t last long. Michael had a Kappa Cannoneer equipped with an Adaptive Omnitool. He brought me down to 25 in one attack, then down to 3 life on his next turn.
Steve casts his commander The Swarmlord, on his next turn, which triggered Screamer-Killer, targeting me for 5 and removing me from the game.
Michael makes his play for the win on his next turn, casting Graaz, Unstoppable Juggernaut turning all his thopters into 5/3 juggernauts, he sends all his creatures at Steve and Brad. Steve responds with Aetherize.
Steve removes Michael on his next turn and Brad, unable to stop Steve, concedes the game.
